Dimitrios Chaskos was born in Ioannina, Greece. He studied Physics at the Physics Department of the University of Ioannina. Also he attended postgraduate studies on Meteorology – Climatology and Physics of the Atmospheric Environment at the same department.
He is currently a PhD candidate at the Physics Department of the University of Ioannina. Also he is working as a postgraduate researcher on the i-ALARMS project in the parts of “Collection and processing of data”, “Validation of the various fire indices and definition of the most appropriate” and “Installation of the numerical model WRF-ARW”.
